analogue Voicemodem

The analog voicemodem is controlled via a normal RS232. Audio input and output can be connected directly to the mic or lineout of the sound card. It works expressly only with an analog voicemodem, this must have the AT commands: AT+VLS=…, AT+CLS=… or AT#VLS=…, AT#CLS= support. Unfortunately, every manufacturer has his own problem and the behaviour of the modems with the same commands is often very different.

We tested it with an ancient Creatix VF14400. The built-in electret microphone has been replaced by a socket so that it can be connected to the loudspeaker output of the sound card. Further information regarding installation and configuration will follow shortly.{:}
